My Story
I am a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of nursing experience. I began my nursing career in 1996 after transitioning from the Emergency Medical Technician field into nursing starting as a nurse aid. In addition to my nursing background, I have completed extensive education and training in Psychedelics, Trauma, Internal Family Systems, Health Equity, Justice Equity Inclusion and Diversity (JEDI), Mindfulness, Breathwork, and Somatics.
Psychedelic medicines have played a critical role in my own healing journey, and I am passionate about sharing this transformative modality with my community and beyond. As a self-identified wounded healer, I believe that my experiences enable me to be a supportive partner in your healing process. I have survived childhood sexual trauma, struggled with complex PTSD, am in recovery from an eating disorder, I have struggled with using substances as a coping mechanism, and have battled severe depression & suicidality.
Having lived through trauma, grief, and loss. I possess a profound understanding of suffering. This shared experience allows me to be a compassionate witness to your pain, as I have been in similar places. I am honored to support others on their journeys through the often-messy landscape of healing. I identify as a queer, white, human, my pronouns are she/they. I have deep connections with and support for the LGBTQIA+, military, recovery, and substance use communities.
I have developed and presented educational content on psychedelic medicines, antidepressant tapering, Ketamine Therapy, and many others. I have provided individual and community psychedelic education. I volunteer with the Arizona Psychedelic Society helping to facilitate their Recovery Alliance group. I volunteer with Decriminalize Nature - Arizona. I volunteer with the Scottsdale Research Institute helping to get and complete clinical trials with psychedelics and work to promote Right to Try laws which are essential for getting legal psychedelic medicine to people and allow for safer psychedelic medicine options. I have dedicated my career to working with these medicines and sharing their powerful healing potential with others.
I provide coaching, psychedelic guidance, education and facilitation. I cater each experience to meet your individual needs.
